Default a bunch of warnings, left side? [2008 A6]

[2008 A6, 3.2L, sline, 160k miles]

So intermittently, my car throws up a bunch of warnings for all the left side lights.
What are the odds that the lights are all out at the same time?
Is it maybe an electrical or a fuse issue that these lights all share?

see attached.

Maybe a bad ground wire? I think all those lights share the same one.

The issue your are experiencing seems to be related to the following: https://www.audiworld.com/forums/a6-...sedan-2894192/

The only way to trully fix this is to replace the offending tail light, in your case the left one. Here's a great post @kelisko put together:

I think he has a different problem. In my case only the brake / turn signal fail. All other lights work.
However the video may show him how to remove the tail light in the event he needed to.

I referred to the video to take out the tail light, there have been known issues with the contacts and you can attempt to clean those, but the first thing the OP will need to to is remove the light and check the contacts to ensure they are ok. If they are not ok, then replace the tail light with something like this: https://www.europaparts.com/tail-light-4f5945095m.html and if they are in good condition, then troubleshoot a possible ground. FWIW, electrical ground issues are a PITA to troubleshoot.
