yes that's almost how it works, here's the sequence:
1. push button, hear beep.
2. say 'dial name'.
3. say the name you want to dial.
4. it repeats your recording of that name back to you.
5. say 'dial' and it dials.
i'd rather it worked like you said though.

Thanks again! Now to find a vag-com in Atlanta...
Buying a Vag-Com costs almost the same as buying a used speech module off ebay.

Sorry to bring up an old post but I have a question. I activated the MMI steering wheel voice button. It does ask for a command but when I say "dial XXXX" it does not recognize any of my contact names. I do have names in the directory and phone book. What am I doing wrong?
