My car is currently at the dealer having this revise done. When I pick it up and have the invoice in front of me I will post the details.

Just got the car back from the dealer after they changed tranny fluid and differential. After a 10% discount the total bill for both was $868.95. The part number for the ATF is G-060-162-A2 and the part number for the differential fluid is G-052-145-S2. ATF was $45.90 per liter and the differential was $36.40 per liter.

How many liters of each fluid was used? Did they itemize how many hours of labor? I'm wondering how much of that cost was labor, and how much was parts/materials.

i wouldnt run anything like that yet. I dont think anything on the market right now is considered a replacement for the lifegaurd fluid. Its just like "special" fluids from he 90's and early 00's, current fluids didnt meet the spec needed so they had to make special blends. Now that aftermarket has caught up fluids on the market now easliy surpass the original spec. Some day fluids will catch up but i dont think it has quite yet.

Current ZF transmissions are filled for life and do not have service interval. I am not sure exactly about the 06 service interval. The torque convertor takes a lot of stress off of the fluid which is the reason why they do not have service intervals.

ZF lifegaurd fluid is engineered with a certain level of coefficient of friction which helps in smoothness of shifting. Please stay away from the aftermarket fluids.
