digital speedometer a6 2006
 

hello,
i got audi a6 2006 ,the centre digital display shows (avg mileage,hours,distance to refuel etc) but not speedometer i press the reset button it keep switching between computer 1 and 2 but doesnt show the speedometer, ive read that there is no speedometer on the red panel screen but i found this video on youtube showing it may be possible
any guide how it is possible?

You have two buttons on Windshield wiper lever, the reset and the rocker at the tip. Keep pressing it and it will display the digital speedometer.

which button the B or A?

Button A. You do realize that you could have tried both and nothing disastrous would have occurred. Also I believe the info is contained within the owners manual

raj is this all C6's? I am sure I have tried button A in my 2005 but there is no digital speed on dash

All C6 in NA came with MMI 2g high, some with monocrome some with color displays based on the options. In Europe the red monochrome displays came with basic MMI and limited options. It's possible that European C6's with Monochrome Display do not have it as an option. I went through the owners manual and all it says about Digital Speedometer is that you can change it from miles to km from the MMI settings. That would be a good indicator on whether you have Digital Speedometer or not. If there is no such setting than you do not have it.

I have a a6 06 avant in canada and I only have the km/h not the mph. I try everything but couldn't find the option.

I have European with mmi 2g high and color and have no speed in dis...

Not on my 06 A6, but I also didn't try to bring it up with my Ross Tech.
