Driver Info Screen works intermittently?
So I just bought a CPO 2008 A6 with 39K miles. The car has Nav. When I start the car in the morning, the driver information screen (between the tach and speedo) does not come on. After a few minutes, it will come on very dimly, then go off again. This goes on for about 15 minutes, then it works normally. Seems like it has to "warm up".
Anyone ever hear of this, or know if it is covered under the CPO warranty to get fixed?

I have an 08 A6 and mine never does this. Mine is on right away so there must be an issue with yours and I would think it would be covered under CPO. Take it to the dealer and they'll tell you for sure.

Issue is under a TSB
Just in case anyone want to know, went to the dealership today. The problem I described in this thread is under a TSB issued in 2009. If the battery has low voltage or the temperature is very cold, it can cause the driver info display to not work for the first few minutes after a cold start.
Had to replace my battery, which the dealer I purchased the car from paid for as I've only had the car for 2 weeks.
