DRL C6/A6
I've seen a number of posts on adding LED Daytime Running Lights and I thought I would start a new Thread for the A6/C6 2005+ to make it easier for everyone to find information for the C6/A6 on this subject. Please share your thoughts and experiences on this topic for all to read.
I'll start by adding my variant to the subject:
**There's a new product about to be released to add LED DRL's to the A6/C6 (non S line bumpers) for model years 2005-2008. You can do this by installing the new Dectane MODULITE daytime Audi A6/C6 4F 05-08 LED running light kit. (Link Shown below) They are not cheap, but its plug and play and you will have the look and functionality of factory LED running lights.

I'm pushing this new kit which is currently in development and about to be released to production. While waiting, I hand crafted an identical product using their LGX17B LED lamp assemblies (Which are the same units used in their new product) and it came out first class. I get regular compliments on how great these LED running lamps look. If you or someone you know is interested in adding this feature to their A6/C6 4F, drop Dectane a line and ask them to hurry up with the formal release of this product.

From what I've seen on the TM Tunning website, it's a completely different product. What makes this assembly unique is that it is a completely plug and play product for the A6/C6 4F and they will make 2 different models, one for Halogen headlamp equipped cars and one for Xenon equipped cars!

Modulite drl and sline
Has anyone actually installed these Modulite drl's?? I have read in other forums that they are kinda cheap and that the lights are not as clear.
Second, I have a a6 c6 sline and all the places say the product is for a non-sline bumper. Is it worth buying it and moding it to fit my bumper or just buy other drl's and fitting them in??

The MODULITE daytime Audi A6/C6 4F 05-08 LED running light kit is only for A6 4F with halogen headlights, they do not offer this item for Xenon-headlighted cars.

DRL help then
I found a website that apparently sells them for xenon headlights, but it doesn't matter since they are for the non-sline bumpers.
Ok then I remember seeing pics of someone who put on drl as an add-on to the fog lights. My fog lights were changed out to xenons, so I do want to keep them and just add the drl to the same vent without cutting. Can someone point me in the right direction? Maybe even with which drl work best.
