Am_ver - Check the plastic tracks / guides that the sunshade runs along. I replaced my springs a while back (2006 A6 Quattro) and recently noticed that my sunshade seemed to be hanging as well. After getting back in there I saw that the guides (also plastic) had cracked and separated so one side of the sunshade was coming off of the track and not sliding freely anymore. They were a little tricky to get in and I had to remove the sunshade completely to replace them. Its a tight squeeze to get your hand in there to work with them.

I ordered the parts from Jim Ellis Audi online and they shipped them to me pretty fast. The guides are part 9A in the diagram at

2006 Audi A6 Quattro Glass sunroof
