Front Brake DIY

Found this great DIY for replacing the front brake pads and rotors. It is for an A4, but I think the A6 caliper looks similar.

Does anyone know if there is anything different on the A6?

Yeah the spring clip of a totaly differnt design, and the carrier is a bit different. But as a general rule, all front brake jobs are about the same.

Very informative for us who don't have the service manual and the heads-up on the spring...thanks

Thanks for the info- I'm getting ready to do my rear brakes and rotors, but the fronts will soon follow :)

Rears are harder than the front since the parking brake complicates things in the rear. I plan to do my fronts and then think about the rears.
