Has anyone ripped off the front end of his/her Audi on a concrete parking stop?
Several years ago my parked Audi was rear ended by another vehicle that left the scene. I noticed a slight dent in my bumper when I returned to the car but nothing else amiss. When I backed out I found the hit had forced the front of my car onto the concrete parking barrier and completely ripped the front end of my car off. Ever since my car seems to sit lower in the front and when I park if I am not extraordinarily careful, the front bumper will slide over the top of the parking barrier without a sound until I try to back up. Since the initial hit, the front has been ripped off due to the same situation three additional times, including today. It never happened prior to the hit and I frequent the same locations. Is my mechanic installing the new front end incorrectly? Is there something causing the front end to now sit lower?

My wife rips it of on a weekly basis without being hit...wire ties are your best friend to keep sides in place...the bottom of your front bumper is most likely warped and it catches barriers...

Ugh I did this at a local bar taking the kids to lunch. There was rebar sticking up from the concrete barrier. Did not see it parking, when I backed up the front of the car came off 😡😡😡
