Default Mix function on Hard Drive

I typically listen to the music on the hard drive. I leave it on the "mix" function so the artist/album keeps changing. However, I have to keep turning on the mix function each time I start the car. Is there a way I can keep the function on so that it stays for the next time I start the car?

maybe a mmi update? On the 2g mmi the car would forget the speaker settings like bass, terrible etc. before an mmi update patch thing.

Your best bet might be to create a pre-randomized playlist on your computer first. I know it's a PITA but at least the the AMI does recognize playlists. :-)
