What???? No heat with the sport wheel? What gives?
I have the sport wheel, damn. Would love to have the heat.
Wife's BMW is also a 3 spoke wheel and it has heat.

I have a question. I have a '08 S6 and on the steering column there is a button for the heated steering wheel but the wheel does not get warm. How can I tell if my vehicle is equipped with heated steering wheel and should function? Just because a button is there doesn't mean I should have this option I do not think but I could be wrong.
Thnx

Look in your owners manual, Lazydog.

When you push the heated steering wheel button, it says on the MFA "heated steering wheel ON" or something like this.
It's on the bottom left spoke of the steering, in the back

check the option code sticker
not 100 sure if the 3 spoke wheel means no heat
i read somewhere that if u have the ski sack pass through then you have heated wheel
fuses and heating elements do go bad also

That is correct it is a small round button right next to the telescopic function of the steering wheel, the heated button is on the steering wheel itself on the back side, mine turns on auto with the cold weather it is a nice feature, like other mentioned it only warms it to a comfy fell not hot.
