So I just bought an 05 A6, got it cheap because it was throwing codes for O2's and the 2006,2007 codes. After some quick research it seemed a broken vacuum line was the likely cause. Got it home, found the broken and brittle plastic line and replaced it. Started up the car and got about 50 feet before I noticed huge clouds of smoke pouring from the exhaust. I disconnected the line and had to drive around for a few to burn off the oil that was sucked into the motor. Its the line coming from the T on the front of the intake manifold. Anyone know what part is the problem and where its located?

Maybe a check valve should go there instead of straight through connector? What engine is that?

It's the 3.2, and it was just a plastic vac line. I'll double check the other end but there was no check valve I saw.

That looks about right. Just let it burn off all the built up it has.
