Key in ignition = side marker lights on?
I always park in my garage, and I'm not a fan of the radio staying on for an hour if I leave the keys in the ignition, so I've been in the habit of just pulling the key out a little bit, which turns the MMI off immediately. However, I noticed that if I leave the key in the ignition, in the Off position, my front side marker lights stay on, and my rear lights stay on, even after more than an hour goes by! This is different from the "coming home" feature, where the fogs stay on for a specified number of seconds (that works fine). Do I have a unique situation, or is leaving the keys in the ignition a no-no? I couldn't find anyting in the manual about this.

Yep that seems to be par for the course
Same thing on our A6... and I like to lock our garage with keys in cars too. Just have to get in the habit of taking the key out of the A6 (and our land rover, does same thing, nav screen wont go off)... and just take inside or better yet, throw in center console cupholder.
