Left the parts to our painter today, discided not to paint the honeycomb, only the frame and the rings... We'll see how it turns out... If I'll regret it or if I'm satisfied
Not promising a finished result this week, but I'll post pictures as soon as I get the stuff back!

Can anyone confirm if the 08 grill will work with my 06 4.2?

And was looking to completely remove the front license plate holder all together...

so if someone can confirm whether this will be a good substiute for my stock grill that would be great.

This Grill should fit all C6 05 to 11 without the front bottom distance sensor.

Just got it back from paint! Looks great! - no pictures yet though!
Also, Dubstop acknowledged my complaint on the torn clips and has posted me a set of pre-painted rings! service? You bet!

Now I'll just have to find the time getting the grill in place!


Anyone knows where I can find a small-plate mount? It comes with the wider mount made for our EU-plates, but here in Sweden you can get a US size smaller front plate if you have a US OEM mount... And I'm not just talking about the plate frame, cause that I take from my work, but a smaller mount that you place the plate frame on?

trying to decide which one to get: Satin or Chrome finish...

I have an oyster grey A6 and like the look of both. BTW, my side mirror caps are brushed aluminum, however the rest of the car has the standard chrome.

What say you guys...should I go Satin or stay with Chrome?

My grille currently looks beat up and I'm looking to have a clean front with no license plate

I just received the following email from Dubstop, that disputes the claim that the 08-10 grille can be used on my 06. Can anyone confirm if this is in fact the case or are they mistaken?

It will work. You just can't put the old one on the facelifted car since there are tabs on the facelifted one.

To get the facelifted grille to fit on the older car, the tabs need to be cut.
