Default Made it to 200k!

My odometer just hit 200k miles!
So far, so good! The upper tensioners have been holding steady at 4-6 degrees. The trans is shifting well. The paint & interior are all holding up well. Life is good!!!
If I could only cure my oil filter housing leak down the back of the block...

Those are promising figures guys. My car is at just 113k miles and I'm hoping to keep it a good few years, so it's encouraging to see some positivity!

I'm shooting for 250k. Oil change, w/0w40 Mobil1, every 5k & trans drain & fill every 15k(filter @30k). It seems to be working well.

My 2006 A6 is at 165K. I took it in to the dealership for the airbag recall. They gave it a “once over” and said, “Whatever you’re doing, keep doing it!”

Doesn't it feel good? Got 221K out of my 03 Avant and it's still on the road (just someone else driving it). 138K on my wifes 05 Cab, 123K on my 09 A6 and I had to deal with the oil filter housing leak on that one - too much oil on the ground everywhere. We'll take as many miles as they will give us but I'm also hoping over 200 on both.

Of course! My “habit” started with a 2002 Passat GLX 2.8 4motion that I bought new in 2003. Then I moved. My newly local “stealership” tried to swap out my Monsoon Head unit with an inferior model (the Monsoon was part of the GLX package) and refused to change the transmission fluid and filter, so I went back to wrenching on my own. I sold that one with 250K on the clock (now approaching 350K) and bought the A6. I just bought a 2011 A8 4.2 for my wife with 39K on the clock. Thanks to this forum, VCSD, and members like you, both the A6 and the A8 will both be on the road for a long time.
