Default MIL came on yesterday and car went into limp mode any insight?

Never had any issues with the car before this. I checked the MIl with VAGCOM and it showed the following:

I cleared it and it hasn't come back on but I haven't really driven it yet just let it run in the garage for a good 20 minutes. Still have CPO warranty and my 45K mile service is coming in a couple thousand miles, so I'll probably bring it up to them then and see if they'll possibly cover just replacing anything that needs it.
Thanks

I wouldn't have clear it, since you have a CPO. The CPO should have cover the replacement of regulator valve. But since you clear it good luck with that one.

I copied the data and saved it. I can print it out and bring it in when I take the car in. Light hasn't come back on in a couple days so it may have been a misread.

Do search on P2294 under my name.
To make a long story short, you need to replace the high pressure fuel pump.
Code takes a while to comeback, but it will.
It seemed to me the light came on stop and go condition.
