NO!
NO!!!! audi pays for the new nav disk under warranty. Look for TSB at this page provided by Pierreb

Here is the email I received from my service tech at Conti Audi:
I did do the MMI update today. I have also installed (partially) a new steering column which contains a new access/start control module. I also have ordered a new Nav disc for your car since that is required for the MMI update. (Odd that they don't say that on the bulletin but tech line knew about it.)

The dealer had me waiting for two days until they received a NAV V5 DVD and then gave me the car back at no charge. It is part of the TSB. Too bad they don't give you the latest version.
Also they said (and wrote on the paperwork) that the MMI was updated but it turned out not to be true. I was on 27.4 and stayed so instead of going to 33.6. So check before leaving the dealer.
