OBD codes P1411 & P1423 Secondary air injection sys

OBD codes P1411 & P1423 Secondary air injection sys
When I checked the codes for my check engine light it gave me two.
each has to do with the secondary air injection system, Bank1 and bank2 "Flow too low".
Can someone tell me what the secondary air injection system is and where its located? Does this represent some kind of an air pump that can be replaced? Is it on the intake or is it on the exhaust system? Thanks

It's located on the back of the engine right of center. It's a large black motor with hoses going to
each bank. Right at the top of the engine. Pretty pricey, about 600-700 dollars at the dealer.
