Newbie A6 Research

hello Audi World-

i am a recent Audi leasee of an A4, new to the forum, researching what will hopefully be my next vehicle. i was all set to lease a 2011 A4, when the family began to complain about the lack of space in my 08 A4. while the new 11 A4s have a little more space in the back it is not a material difference. As a new A6 isn't in the budget, i am looking at 08 a6s coming off leases to buy, much like my A4 is next month.

what scares me abit and what i hope to get some feedback on is reliability factors. Consumer Reports is not kind to the A6 but, seems to LOVE the A4.

would love to hear form all, especially those who might have owned both.

thanks in advance to the group.

Bugsy, welcome aboard!

I think you've got to take the CR reports with a bit of skepticism. Take a look at the JD Powers survey, they tell a different story.

We've got both an A6 and an A4. While the A4 is only weeks old, I expect it to match the exceptional service provided by our A6. Both cars have been nothing short of wonderful and the dealership we use seems fully capable of handling anything we've thrown at them so far.

Are you looking to buy new or an lo-mileage CPO A6?

JDP is much kinder to the A6 than CR. THANKS,
