Default Night vs Day

Anyone experience their A6 thinking it’s night during the day? The first thing you notice is the sat nav has gone into the darker ‘night mode’. The auto headlights have also turned on.

Must be a light sensor I guess?

There is a setting in the MMI where you can adjust the light sensitivity that controls day vs. night.

Yes, I have same issue with my 2 week old 2019 A6. Auto headlights doesn’t seem to detect bright light. I start car in garage where it’s darker and auto headlights turns on low beams as expected, but once I drive out, the low beam headlights stay on, despite it being very bright outside. I’m taking it to dealer to get checked out. Think it’s a faulty light sensor somewhere.

You have a C8. This is the C6 forum. You will get better information about your car on the C8 forum.

Sorry. I looked there as well and didn’t see any info about this issue.
