Poly snub mount effects?
I am starting to lay out my spring/summer maintenance plans.
one of the main items that I'll be doing is snub mount replacement.
I've been leaning toward a polyurethane replacement, instead of oem.
However, I am wondering about any "negative" effects of going poly instead of oem. I was wondering if engine idle vibration or, if, around town "lugging" harmonics would become more noticeable?
What has been the collective opinion on the ecs poly mount vs. oem?
My car is an '06 C6 3.2.

I've ran ECS poly snub mounts on my last 3 Audi's and all have been great. I really have no negative effects or downsides to mention. I know some think poly and think bad NVH right away but you really are not going to get that in the front snub mount. The ECS poly snub mount is an all around positive improvement over a stock mount. It takes up just enough of that slack in the engine play to give you just a tiny bit of better engine response.

Mine was locally made out of an extra thick truck tire. I was planning to order the ECS one and replace it later, but I think I just won't bother anymore because the ride is smooth and the response is good. If the one made out of tire is fine, then the ECS one must be even better.
