Default Question for you 2005 A6 owners.......

I am helping a friend purchase a very low mileage 2005 A6 3.2L w/ quattro and was wondering if you can tell what some of the options are on the car if it has other options. For example, the car has Navigation, Bluetooth, and heated seats.......with heated seats does it come with the heated steering wheel or Xenons, as part of a cold weather package. Also, do all A6's come standard with voice activation? if not can it be programmed in with my vag-com.

I live too far a way to check the car out myself and the 2 pictures I have seen just tell me it does not have advanced key.

Any insight or help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Default no heated steering wheel in 05 for 3.2 models. voice was an option, no way to know

without the original invoice, or getting in the car.

xenon may have been standard, can't remember.

Default I don't know about the 3.2, but the 4.2 had the following options in 05

navigation, upgraded sound system, satelite radio, heated rear seats, heated steering wheel, headlight washers, advanced ket (keyless start), 18 inch wheels, solar sunroof, power rear sunshade, manual side sunshades, supplementsl rear side airbags, rear parktronic, vooice recognition, tire pressure monitoring, sport seats, sport suspension.

I think that the following were standard on the 4.2 but were options on the 3.2

bi-xenon adaptive headlights, volterra leather, sunroof, interior wood inlays, auto dimming mirror.

Default Is it possible to get a photograph....

of the options sticker in the trunk? It's in the wheel well with the spare tire. Once you have that, you can get them decoded on this website . . .

Option Decoder

Default I have an 05 3.2Q with 82k miles, and it's been great...more

I have the NAV, cold weather, premium, start/stop button, etc. Mine has xenons. The voice button can be activated with vag com, but only runs the phone, not the nav. heated seats in mine are both front and rear, very nice. no heated steering wheel.

Default Thanks everyone for the information. I was able to see the car today.......

It has Nav, Xenons, Heated front and rear seats, Homelink, Rear Parktronic, 18 in. wheels, Sat. radio, and a 6 disc. changer. From what I can tell it is pretty loaded. No advanced key though.

I am pretty particular and I would say this 2005 A6 is very clean. 25K original miles, not a door ding anywhere. I ran a scan on it and one fault code popped up and it was for a battery regulator. Anyone have any insight concerning this? My friend is picking it up for about $21K. How do you all feel about this deal? It is a private party deal and the warranty ran out 12/2008.

Thanks again.
