I found a broken rear spring and started the project. I did a lot of searching on the removal but didn't find much for the C6, only that it was a PINTA to do. I dug into it, removed the shock and found out my spring compressor wouldn't fit. I looked at dropping the subframe but without the proper spring compressor it didn't look like I'd be able to get it out. Can someone give me some suggestions as to what is the right compressor to use, or what else has to be disassembled to get the most clearance to remove the spring?

To remove and install coil spring, use the procedural description supplied in spring tensioning system VAS 6274.
