Seafoam. Not the usual question.

Pics
this are the intake runners before and after manual cleaning,
this is the easy part of cleaning, the carbon in the intake valves with the aid of heat petrifies and becomes hard as a rock.
no other way but manually removing it.
here are couple of pictures of the intake valves (sorry no the best photographer).

sea foam
impossible to get those results without manually cleaning them
think about it, for something to clean this good definitely will harm other parts of the engine.
due to the alloy used in these engines I would not even consider any "miracle" product.
most products in the market were/are designed for the regular cars.
this is mostly a direct injection concern, which is nothing new, ask the guys who drive diesel engines specially those that have to comply with emission regulations.
seem post from people who call themselves technicians claiming to use it in the oil, have anyone seem an engine that uses synthetic oil dirty? I have not.,
in any case, when an engine needs to be rebuilt and still runs is very easy to clean adding 1 qt of regular ATF,
this fluid cleans extremely well, ask any mechanic how the inside of an auto transmission looks like.

Oil change after intake seafoam - how long?
I plan to seafoam the intake (via vac line) on Friday:
a) which vac line should I use (B5 A4 2000 1.8T)?
b) when should the oil be changed after the seamfoam? Can I put 100-200 miles on?

Not if/what seafoam helps. But I have been using it a on various Audi and VW.
I like to do it before an oil/filter change. Assumption: is does 'clean' and removes some build up, which is then getting into the oil. May as well do it close to an oil change.
