Open rear door, throw key fob onto front seat, place parcel on rear seat, close rear door, hear alarm re-engage.
If not for the plastic wallet key, I would have been pWned.

I know another one - have your key in your briefcase, open rear door, throw your briefcase on the floor behind the driver's seat, hear alarm re-engage. If you do not have the plastic wallet key on you (I did not), call your wife and ask her to drive for 30 minutes to bring you a spare set. Listen to what she thinks about you. lol

Hi Guys,
It should not be possible to lock the key inside the car. Just touching the sense pad under the outside driver's door handle causes the system to search for a valid key. It should detect it whether it is inside or out and unlock the doors.
Put your key inside (preferably with the wife!) and try it.
cheers

That's the equivalent of what I did. Apparently, if the car is already locked, it will relock ...
when the rear door is closed, but if the car has not been locked, then you cannot lock it from outside if the key remains in the car.

That's a good point, but should it relock after a door has been opened with the key on the outside?
I guess the difference is whether it is the front or rear door that gets opened.
