I have a 2006 audi a6 3.2 quattro and once in a while ill go crank the car and it won't start than i try to crank the car immediately after the failed crank and it will crank up. Do anyone know what could be causing this problem?

@Chrisjharris - could be a number of issues: battery, alternator, fuel filter, HPFP, electrical connection, etc...

Based upon your past posts, you seem to have had some some of premature depletion of your batteries. Perhaps you have a parastic power draw. HPFP = High Pressure Fuel Pump. You're best might be to take the vehicle to a mechanic who can ascertain the failure, before you get stranded somewhere.
