A few days ago my wife and I were backing out of the driveway in the S6. I heard the sunroof open and thought my wife accidentally opened it, while I was looking back. Today, I left work and it did it again. Just opened part way to the vent position. I wasn't near the button, it was 58 degrees? I didn't hit a bump? I have the solar panel sunroof, is this a known issue?

Never had the issue with my 2005 4.2 solar panel. Also no TSBs

however, just the opposite, sometimes after I opened them they would not close.

Life Rules

No problems with spontaneous opening. I took mine to the dealer and they fixed it under warranty.

weird, but maybe check if there is any debris trapped in the sliding mechanism.

First I just want to say that I really appreciate this forum because I used it to solve my issue and if I can help anyone in any way by posting my experience would be well worth it. I recently had an issue with my 2013 Audi A8L. The sunroof would open intermittently by itself after I accidentally opened the sunroof. I thought I had closed it but the inside sunroof shade kept opening back up by itself every couple of minutes while I was driving. This was very alarming and annoying at the same time. I read the forums about this issue and found a post that said to cycle through the whole process of opening and closing the sunroof while holding the open sunroof button continuously. Low and behold it worked for me. After I did that it closed and luckily I have not had the issue in over a week. I hope that helps anyone with their sunroof problem.
