Sunroof stuck in vent position
Driving in to work today and put the sunroof to vent. When I went to close it, nothing happened. All i hear is a click when trying to open or close.
Any advice on how to remedy without taking to the shop is appreciated.

My old A6 had a manual override procedure to close the sunroof. You have to take off the sunroof motor cover, there was a lever you can turn to close it off.
Note the sunroof is designed to open automatically if the car is submerged. Sometimes rail or other source of water trigger this function and sunroof opens up by itself.

Do you recall how this was resolved. My sunroof has started doing this from time to time, but it always fixes itself after a few minutes.
