Bose Surround Sound?
I have a 05 a6 4.2 just curious as too why it seems like the sound from the radio is coming straight from the center console rather than around me unless its just me being in the driver's seat (if that makes sense) yes my system is bose surround sound and yes the speaker setting is on Normal...just wanted to know if any one else felt this way?

The "surround front" setting sounds best to my ears but does reduce bass somewhat if that is a concern.

May be somewhat off topic..
But, I have some static on my passenger side door speaker..
Would this be covered by CPO?
will I need to replace..
Has anyone pulled the door panel off.. I wouldn't mind just disconnecting for the time being..

Not to hijack the thread, but I remember someone saying they used vag com to change the settings and it gave the Bose system more juice. Anyone know what that setting was or have a link to the thread?

I think the thread that you are referring to was to recode the Bose system for a different type of interior. If you change the coding for a cloth seat interior it boosts the base significantly to compensate for the absorbtion of the cloth upholstery.
