System Lean bank 1 and 2
Hello All, first CEL ever since Ive owned the car. System lean bank 1 and 2, cleared codes after I got to work with OBDeleven and used the rest of my night looking around for possible causes. PCV, MAF, vaccum leaks etc were usual culprits so i started there. Didnt find any visual cracks in any hoses and read somewhere that removing oil cap while running should NOT be extremely hard and if so PCV failure??? Well you have to 2 hand mine to get it to even break seal, extreme amt of vaccum and starts whistling when you break seal on oil cap.... Is this normal? Which leads me to my second issue.............. SIGHS i was moving some hoses around to see how i would even get the PCV out to replace, (BVJ) engine code, and when I moved hose from coolant res to throttle body union, snap!!! The nipple broke off throttle body union, coolant went everywhere....... So ordered a new throttle body union and gaskets. How hard is this job? I have a decent wrench buty some of these screws look extremely difficult to get to........ Also if my PCV is bad from above symptoms Im going to replace while im in there.......
