Trynna figure out a way to make my exhaust and supercharger louder
I own a 2011 Audi A6 3.0t and I love the car and it’s super nice but I have been reading the forums and I’m trying to find either an exhaust system that would work with my model and make it sound louder but clean and also a way to make the supercharger louder cause when I can hear it for a split second it sounds very nice. Please help a guy out

#1- Remove the foam insert that is in your airbox, that will increase flow and give you a hint more noise.
#2- Remove the black noise insulation from the back of the supercharger, ie just in front of the oil filter housing.
#3- I went to Lowes and bought a 3" PVC elbow, a 2-foot piece of 3" PVC pipe, and 2 rubber 3" to 3" PVC connectors. Cut it to size, add some heat-tolerant black paint to make it match the engine trim, and don't forget the cutout for the PCV valve. Install that in place of your intake pipe that connects the throttle body and the airbox. This made the biggest difference in intake noise for me, and only cost me about $25 for it all, including the paint.
#4- For the exhaust, the 3.0T does make a bit of noise, but our three mufflers really cut that down. I cut a hole in my rear/third muffler (just behind the rear valance) and noticed a deeper rumble when starting and when pushing her. I have only cut the driver's side so far. I do notice drone when cruising at 70mph, but others can barely hear it (I have special ears). I just bought the supplies to weld an exhaut valve in place so that I can have it loud when I want, and quiet too.
For #1-3, easy to go back if you change your mind. For #4, not so easy to plug an exhaust hole unless you have access to a welder... so be sure if you go this route.
P.S. Don't mind the look of my

I did similar to the above post by modifying a b8.5 rkx intake hose (cut it down a few inches on TB side and airbox side) (search my name on audizine). What really got the car screaming was upgrading to a jhm 179mm crank pulley and epl stage 2. Exhaust will be next. Was thinking about possibly doing electric cutouts for when the wife is in the car.

The hole in the driver's side muffler is only about 1.5"; I wanted to make sure I wouldn't waste my money. I will be finalising with a 2.5" hole, with a valve and elbow welded on in the next few weeks. The problem now is the bit of drone I have at highway speeds. Hence the valve. Then, I am either going to link it to some sort of switch in my shifter unit (so it only closes in Drive (that way I get loud acceleration in Sport and loud start-up)), or run a micro solenoid off of my bypass valve, so that whenever the bypass valve closes and I have boost, the exhaust valve will open and I'll get sound, too.
