I spilled 1 gal of used oil in my garage...oil everywhere even started to seep under garage door....looked for sawdust in home depot and found this oil absorber..3lbs for $7.
I highly recommend it to guys like me who dont look where we step.
It took about 2/3 of the bag and less than 5 minutes. Dont need to wash it..the floor is dry and shiny again....

Kitty litter, and burned rice hull ash, in that order. Work it in to the spill with a course-bristled broom.

After that, use a spray-on cleaning fluid, and rinse the area.
