I need some help here guys on my 2005 A6 3.2 (BKH). I have replaced the gasket almost 4 times and also using new valve covers. I also had a professional mechanic do the valve covers twice. But I still have oil in the sparkplugs??
Is there some blockage some where causing the oil leak?
Any help please!!!

Hey I seen your thing you said you replaced your valve gaskets 4 times !!! Me too ! I’m going ****in crazy ! It’s still burning ! Just got it done last week and boom again ! What did you end up doing with yours is it burning still is it fixed how did you solve that ?? Help plz

Valve cover gaskets fixed 5 times keeps burning !!!
I have fixed the valve cover gaskets 5 times and boom. Here they go again !?? I see I’m not the only want and I don’t wanna give this car up what do I do !? Fix the gaskets every month ? Fml ! What can fIX IT ? A whole new engine ! ? Help

you realize that it MAY NOT BE THE VALVE GASKET....it actually might be leaking oil for other places....there are a number of threads here which will walk you through places your oil can leak...

I used some high temp silicone gasket goop intended for valve covers in addition to the valve cover gaskets. I cleaned the surface of the head with brake cleaner and applied the silicone to that surface, then mated the valve cover with the gasket and bolted it down. I paid special attention to the rings around the spark plug holes and the lower edge of the head as well since that is where the worst leaks on my car were from. I don't think the plastic valve cover is up for the task long term and since a replacement VC is mega bucks, silicone will do the trick.
