variable idle and engine run on my 2006 A6 3.2
I've a variable idle on my 2006 A6 3.2, started at about 160,000 miles; now has 170,000. No engine light. Mechanic says the plastic flaps in the intake manifold have have basically disintegrated - manifold needs to be cleaned out.
Anyone have similar issues w an older 3.2? Says it's a $1500 fix.
