Where does the visual voicemail show up on the car? can you take pics? My iphone is jailbroken and I don't want to upgrade unless I really have to - I love my jailbroken apps, especially cycorder (video recorder)

No it's just what they call regular voicemail. Before you couldn't hear you messages through the car, but now you can with 3.0. The "visual" part is the listing of all your voicemails and the caller ID of them on your actual iphone screen.

I have always been able to hear my voicemail through the car. Perhaps it is just different service providers.

Sweet! I didnt think to try that yesterday after upgrading. Now if they can just fix that loud buzzing that I occassionaly get when dialing out from the car..

On the iphone you don't have to "call" your voicemail, you can just choose from a list of your voicemails on the screen and listen to whichever one you want in whichever order you want. Historically, the sound would not come through the bluetooth system in the car, you had to either put it on the phone's or put the phone to your ear. Now with 3.0 you can tap the message you want and the sound comes over the bluetooth in the car. But you cannot choose which voicemail to listen to through the MMI. You still choose it on the phone itself.

That is what I was thinking has been fixed with the 3.0 upgrade. Now, that would be sweet!!!

I never got the buzz noise before the MMI upgrade. I think the MMI software needs to be fixed for that sound.

it's just on the iphone. It didn't work for this phone. all other phones worked fine.
