Where to set MAX speed?
While playing with the car couple of months ago I had set the speed limit to something like 95mph... and it did get trigged a couple of times on the trip to Las Vegas (I was just going with traffic ;p) - Speed warning, with a circle and MPH written below it.
Now, I am unable to find where to change this setting. I went to <Car> and also to <Setup> - but can't find it. Was this available only on the previous version of MMI and I can't see it now as I have upgraded?
Any ideas?

Toggle the switch on the end of the wiper stalk, it should be one of the windows shown in the center small screen on the dash as you scroll thru them. Reset or turn off by pressing and holding the button on the underneath side of the wiper stalk.

It's supposed to be in the "Instrument Cluster" MMI settings under the "Car" button menu items, but I just checked and sure enough the Instrument Cluster setting is gone.
I guess it went the way of the Battery Level Indicator when my dealer updated the MMI.
Both of these can be reactivated w/ VAG-COM or by getting the dealer to reactivate.

hmm.. yeah, I don't remember seeing the 'Instrument Cluster' under the CAR menu anymore. The battery indicator is still there.
A6Gary, I don't have the switch at the end of the wiper stalk.

Me bad, I was thinking of my '96 A6 Avant. I checked my C6 A6 Avant this afternoon and the MPH warning is under the Instrument Settings on the MMI.

While I was at the dealer getting my MMI fixed, I asked them about the missing "Battery Level Indicator" and "Instrument Cluster" settings in the CAR menu. They told me that Audi removed the battery setting by design, but the instrument cluster setting should still be there, so they added it back in for me.

You can also set the speed warning by pressing the "Check" button while driving. Clear the speed warning threshold by pressing and holding the "Check" button while driving.

That's right. Although, they're two separate warnings that can be set at different speeds (I guess designed for those of us who insist on ignoring first warnings). The speed set via MMI can only be changed via MMI, and likewise with setting it via "Check" button. At least I think that's the way is works.
