Default 2012 A7 drivers seat cooling sux !

Damn the cooled drivers seat sux !!!!!! I did not realize when I bought the car a year ago that the cooled seats are horrible. Anyway to throw a bigger motor and fan under the seat and add some AC like my Chevy truck did !? That seat would get so cold I had to turn it off in the summer. Audi can make a nice car but damn they suck at this part. What engineer or quality control person actually approved this shyt. Anyone know if this is isolated to the A7 or is it all Audi models ?

OK, I'm done venting.....for now......

Well, to be fair, these aren't cooled, per se. They are ventilated by the fans, but not actually cooled as we might think of it. It's all about expectations... lol

I will agree the A7's ventilated seats are a bit asthmatic. Our Porsche's ventilated seats cool instantly and really make a difference.

Chiming in to say mine works like doodoo as well. (Compared to Lexus' ventilated seats, they're pretty noisy though on highest setting)

IF you go to the AC menu and change the footwell temperature to colder and manually select the upper and lower air vents and avoid the automatic mode you will feel cold air flowing through the seats. Its better at this setting then automatic or at warmer footwell temps. Though its not as strong as my Lexus GS Fsport I had before.

While it may not be the coldest or hte hardest blowing it makes a big difference with and without. Yesterday was 98 out. I had my fan on and then shut it off just to see the difference. Instantly my back started getting hotter. I'll have to try the adjustments and see if that helps.

not sure of the how of the "manually override and avoid the automatic " part works?
