A7 2018 Check engine light
My vehicle has 78,700 miles, and I need it for a road trip in three days. Today, to my horror, I see my check engine light on. I took it to the Audi service in Tallahasse, a Mickey Mouse approved outfit not associated with Audi, and was told earliest appointment was mid May!!!! The service at the BMW where I bought the car was kind enough to put the mini computer on the car, and I'm told that it has to do with restricted air to the first Bank of cylinders. I was also told since the check engine light is steady and not blinking, it would be OK to drive the car in the meanwhile. I recently changed the air filter, but there is a cement factory close to my house that is dusty, and while I try to avoid the dust, I do have to drive through it quite frequently. So, is it safe to drive, and would changing the air filter resolve the light issue?
Addendum, today my next door neighbor has a mini computer, and the code is PO491 and PO492. I looked it up, and it has to do with secondary air injection system to warm up the catalytic converter. So that's where we are.

I recently purchased a 2018 A7 with 43K miles that the check engine light went on during my drive home.
Called the dealer (non-Audi) who had me bring the car back the next day.
They said it was due to the SAI passages in the engine block which gummed up with carbon and did a "quick fix".
The next few days the check engine light came back on so I took it back and they did a more thorough cleaning which the check engine light has not re-appeared.
This issue was covered by the dealer so I did not get into any further details.
Since my 2018 A7 is new to me, I do not have much experience with it yet to give any advice other than have your mechanic diagnose the problem and provide a resolution.
