Default A7 Quattro clicking sound Front Wheel

I'm experiencing a clicking sound which I think is coming from the front wheel drivers side. The number of clicks increases with acceleration and vice versa. Very noticeable with the windows down.

Any my ideas before I get told I need a different part in turn from the garage ?

My best guess would be a CV joint on the axle.

To eliminate the guess work, the car should be on a rack where the wheels can be spun and components examined.

does it happen in reverse? How many miles?? Have you noticed an increase or decrease when you turn your wheel??

57000 miles. Doesn't seem to do in reverse. Sometimes sounds/feel a bit of a grind on turning and vibration in pedal when braking. I've got the discs being replaced next week, but ideally would like all sorting at same time
