My A7 was due this week. Dealer called me said there is a stop sale on A7 now so it's stuck at the port.

Anyone have any more info ?

Yeah, I'm in on that thread. I got a green light on my S7 on the way. That being said, I'm confused as to what is holding up dealers. If my car just came out of production on May 12th and is good to go, there is a solution to the problem. So whats taking so long? Is it a distribution of parts thing? Or is installation technician specific? I've waited nearly 6 months since I ordered the car so I would've been irate if it was affected but I'm curious as to why cars on the lot/port aren't being addressed.

There is a recall for all A7s from 2015 onwards for side curtain airbags not working.

Thanks for the post and I was able to check the VIN. My A7 is on the vessel heading towards Rhode Island is not affected by this.

I think our cars came in on the same vessel. Overly excited to finally get my hands on it. Wondering how long we can expect for the cars to move out of the port
