A7 TDI

Please correct me as I'm probably wrong with my limited knowledge on Audi's 3.0 TDI's.

I believe that the only years that Audi built the A7 with a 3.0 TDI was 2014 thru 2016 and I am wondering if there is any really big differences between these years.....things that are good and point towards a certain year to focus on getting or bad things that make someone not buy a certain year.

Any help is appreciated.....thank you

The US market may be different but here in UK and in Europe the A7 was available with the 3.0tdi right from the launch.

I have a 2014 BiTdi and it is superb with no real things I don't like.

It is different in the US market. I wish the BiTdi was available for me but sadly it isn't.
I didn't think that there was any problems with any certain years but thought I'd ask just in case I have missed something.

I too was thinking about the Q5 TDI to fill the roll.

Thank you

For the U.S. I believe there were some updates to the 2016. I can't remember exactly what they were, but that is why i bought my 2016 instead of a 15.

I'm looking really seriously at the 2016 A7's but not exactly set in stone yet.

It has a peach of an engine. That 425 ft pounds of torque really makes a difference in acceleration from a complete stop. Did I mention 35mpg at 80mph?

Those mileage figures are exactly what I want to hear about....not only that but about any reliability issues as well.

I had a one day all highway trip of 810 miles. Did it on one tank!

You were on a hypermile day run trying to maximize ****.... Huh?

nope. Running at 80 mph. The indicated mileage just kept getting better and better as the trip continued. I was amazed as the trip counter kept going.
