ACC Brake Guard Unavailable
Posting this for anyone who runs into a similar issue in the future.
Around 99K miles, my 2012 A7 (Prestige w/ Innovation package) started throwing an error that ACC and Brake Guard is unavailable. I had seen this code intermittently before, but a restart of the car usually made it go away. This time it stuck around permanently, even after clearing DTCs.
Scanning with VCDS, the following code was noted:
0161 - Video Cable for Image Processing
C1107 02 [009] - Signal Failure
There was a thread on ross-tech forums where a user had a similar issue, and it turned out to be a bad / unseated cable. I took a look at the cable that was attached to the camera (above the rearview mirror), and re-seated it. Code was still being thrown until I applied more pressure to the cable to really force it to connect, at which point, that seems to have fixed the problem.
This does look to be a common issue in the cars, so may be useful for anyone that is coming across this in the future. I will keep an eye to see if this solves it permanently, or if I will end up having to swap out the cable.

There's a couple of other potential reasons people have run into, and several threads here and at audizine. I posted that thread on Ross Tech. I wish I could have just reseated mine, but ended up replacing the cable. Other than the cost (~$200) it's been working fine since.
