Default Active Lane Assist and Side Assist

Took delivery 2 days ago. Been on many roads and highways with markings and Lane Assist hasn't worked. No indicator lights on dash and no steering wheel input. Am I missing something? Today I got in the car and Side Assist lights in mirrors don't work. Anyone see anything similar?

Lane Assist doesn't kick in until 40 MPH (not sure why they set that so high...)

There is a button that turns on/off side assist over by the driver side mirror - maybe that got toggled?

I have been on several highways well over 40 for very long periods of time. They are well marked with lines and nothing. The light is on the button by the drivers mirror and MMI says it is on.......called dealer and they will look at Monday. Thanks for the input

The Active Lane Assist has to be toggled on with the button on the end of the turn-signal lever (I believe that is the correct lever ).

The intensity of the side assist indicators is controlled in the MMI.

Well - what a find! The manual isn't totally clear on that. Will give it a try! Thanks for the heads up. Loving the car more each day - and they says something as I still have my S5 and just put up for sale my A8! Didn't expect all the comments I get on a model that is in it's 4th year - but the black with black optics gets at ton of attention.
