Add Oil light issue, Help?

So I only have 5500kms since purchasing my used 2014 A7 3.0L from an Audi Dealer and I am getting a add 1L of oil light on the instrument cluster. Is there a known issue with oil in these models or an issue with the oil indicator. Perhaps it is low on oil. Any help would be appreciated. I wish this car had a freakin dipstick. LOL

There are lots of suppliers selling dipsticks for your car. You will easily see the plastic cap that needs to be removed at the front side of the engine. I bought one like this years ago.

In the future, you might want to post questions like this in the A7-C7 forum. It will get a lot more views.

Philly, do you know how many miles are on this car?

Go to the dealership and have them check it with their tool. Have them top off the oil.

Yeah some of the 3.0s have an appetite for oil. I believe it stems to the pcv oil separator. Having the dealer replace it will not be cheap as they have to pull the supercharger.

As for the dipstick, I bought mine on Amazon for around $15. There are some with a plastic handle or a metal handle. Get the plastic unless you like grabbing hot steal to check your oil level
