Oh, the Z06... that's a whole different league. I'm so used to seeing the Stingray BS that I don't pay attention to anything anymore.
Of course, the Z06 is a no-brainer. But there's the R8 and the Porsche Turbo to consider before pulling the trigger on the Z06. I'll take any one of them. The Porsche will probably put you in better circles at the local track. None of them are suitable for public roads - they are just too fast for me.

Did you see a z06? Or a regular stingray? Because I am talking about the z06 and it looks way muscular than the regular corvette (along with carbon fiber everywhere) As I said before I am not a big fan of American cars but I really think they are stepping up their game, this new z06 and I like the new Cadillac CTS, they haven't come with the real V but the "v sport" is (in my opinion" a beautiful car and with 420hp at the same level of a S7 (at least on paper because Audi underrates it's numbers)

IMO, in the 50+ years since the Vette was born, there have hardly been any MY's that were less than stellar.
The latest ZO6' however, may dethrone the mid-60's as my favorite vintage Get one.
