I'm kinda curious too, I get the rattle when talking on the phone with certain people. every once in a while I hear the grill rattle. Grill just pops off? How easy is the speaker to get out?

Did anyone cut out the bottom of the speaker location to makes these Kenwood speakers fit? Or will that compromise the sound

once you pop off grill you just unscrew 2 screws and it comes right out. I did it this past weekend to find out I need about half an inch of more space.

easy as pie to get out but with A7 the Kenwood Speaker is 1/2 inch deeper than the speaker enclosure. Some had to modify the enclosure to fit and I would like to know what have others done to make it fit. Cut out the bottom ?

Was at dealership this weekend and they said no recall or TSB for the A7
