Xpel. They are doing my entire car in Stealth in the next few weeks. All the cosmetic appeal of Matte Pearl White paint, all the protection of a wrap, can clean, rub, wax it like a normal finish and now struggling with matte paint.

I passed on the A pillars as I didn't want to see the lines at the top. Of course, that's where I'll get a rock chip. Sigh..

Be sure the installer wraps the fenders and hood to hide the seams. Also, you should expect them to prep the paint before application. Even if the car is brand new, there's bound to be some road junk from just driving to the shop, etc. If yu can, tell the dealer to hand wash only before delivery to avoid swirls right out of the chute.

I have searched high and low for huper optik both in florida(Rick or anyone else have luck) and in the Philly area where i spend 4 months a year without any luck whatsoever. If anyone knows of installers in those ares I'd appreciate it. I've had no luck contacting and getting responses from huper either. Sio my big ? Is if I can't get huper, the wrapper uses 3m ceramic and there's a place near dealership that uses sun tek's carbon xp. Which way would you go? I would like someone who is very familiar with the product they are using.

As for xpel there is a 6- star factory trained shop (auto super shielding boca raton ( have never figured out what spaniards called the place the rat's mouth) that will do bumpers, full hood, front fenders, headlights and rocker panels. As for mirrors they're going to do carbon fiber wrap ( closest I can get to an rs7 and roof in black. Hoping dealership will keep car for me after its completed though I'll have it insured.

What does everyone think of the mirror choice. Dealership has modified a ibis white 7 glike my pretige that should be here 1st full week of july) with painted black roof, red calipers, eliminated chrome on everything except grill, quad tip exhaust like s7 and a tune for about 4500. I was impressed with the calipers, roof and exhaust but 450 for the roof is easier to swallow.
