German language on MMI?
On my North America market S7, admittedly a C8 platform (posted here for a wider audience of people who may know more than I), the only system language versions are English, Spanish, and French.
As I’ve seen on non-Audi makes, is there some engineering or otherwise hidden menu somewhere such that German could be enabled?

No. The software is completely different for different regions, certain functions are only available in certain regions, so are the language choices. The European software has a variety of languages (including German) but the North American version is limited to English, French and Spanish. Schade.
