Default Headlight washer for 2012 A7 Prestige

Should all 2012 A7 Prestiges have headlight washers or is it an option as part of the Cold Weather package? I assumed mine had them and popped the cover off and there is nothing there. And looking at my window sticker I don't see it. Thanks

The USA C7's do not have the headlight washers. If you have Night Vision, you have some of the plumbing. Some people bought parts from Canadian dealers and installed them.

Ahh, thanks. I do have night vision and a little squirter that cleans the lens off. I'll have to look in to the mod. Though I read people saying about them breaking.

I've seen several people saying that the washers don't retract when it's freezing. They break if you try to force them back in.

i think i have a leak in mine... a independent tech told me it's just a connector to the hose that keeps falling off somewhere behind the front fender. He wasnt sure if the connector is replaceable on its own

Maybe not with Audi parts but it can be replaced. Any decent hardware or auto parts store has hoses and fittings.
