Thanks for asking. Well, it was an advertising mistake. I went to Prestige Audi in Miami to look at a 2012 they had advertised for $54,900 with 29,000 miles. When I got there and asked for the car, they didn't know which car I was talking about. Turned out, the car in the picture was my car-- the one with 2900 miles! They added a zero. I drove it away for $51k.
As for why I made the switch... Lets just say the memories of my first 911 were better than the later experience. Don't get me wrong, it was an awesome car! I think I didn't like it because it was too damn uncomfortable. It was set up dropped with HR springs which are pretty low on that car, and 305/25/20's. It was rough. Now, with the A7 I'm in a perpetual state of nirvana. It's fast, it's comfortable, it's easy on the eyes, it's got every creature comfort I could ever want and my friends don't call my car the extendopenis 5000 anymore.
